We are still accepting applications for our upcoming 2017-2018 terms as space is still available.

In order to be considered to receive housing at UH College Suites, we require a completed application packet.

A completed application packet consists of of the following:

  • Completed Housing Application. – Click the green “Apply now” tab on our website.
  • $200.00 Application Fee.
    • Make check or money orders payable in U.S. Currency to Renaissance Corporation of Albany** (RCA).
      • **Renaissance Corporation of Albany or RCA is doing business as UH College Suites.
    • Credit Card Payments – Click on the “Pay your Rent online” icon on our website.
      • Please be advised there is an additional convenience charge of 2.95% to make payments online.
  • Application Fee Policy Signature Page.

Please be advised that all applicants are initially placed on our Wait List. Once your application is complete, you will receive notification of application status. Placement is based on the date we receive your $200.00 application fee. Once housed, three emails will be sent to you in regards to your placement. The first two emails reference your housing reservation reserving your specific space at UH College Suites and a license agreement that needs to be electronically signed. The third email will be a final confirmation of residency which includes your actual room assignment and roommates.

The Term periods are approximate and reflect the attending college’s beginning and end dates. You will be notified of your actual term dates prior to move in.

UH College Suites is proud to announce the installation coinless laundry equipment. In order to utilize the new laundry equipment, you will need to use a laundry card provided by UH College Suites.

How to get started to add value to the UH College Suites Laundry Card:

  1. Log on to: www.codedvalueadder.com/uhcsrevalue
  2. Click on New Customer and fill in the registration information.
    1. If you enter a mobile number during registration, your codes can be sent directly to your phone in a text message.
  3. After submitting your information, you will receive an activation email.
    1. Open and click on “Activate Account”. You will then be redirected to the sign in page.
  4. Sign in with your newly created log in and password
  5. Click on Cards.
    1. Card Alias – Name your card
    2. Money Card Serial #- Enter the serial number located on the back of your card.
      1. It is an 8 digit number following ESD on the back of the card.
      2. Codes that you purchase will only work on this card.
    3. Confirm Serial #
    4. Click ADD
  6. Click on Revalue.
    1. Choose a Code Value Adder (CVA)
      1. The CVA for Building A is #1.
      2. The CVA for Building B is #2.
    2. Click “Assign”.
  7. At the bottom of the page, click on “Buy Code”.
  8. Choose an amount from the drop down menu to add to your card.
  9. Complete your payment information. Click “continue.”
  10. You will received a code that can be printed or if you have listed a mobile device, it will arrive via text.
  11. Bring the code to the Coded Value Adder (CVA) you have selected.
    1. Your code will only work on that CVA.
    2. The CVA for Building A is #1 is located in the Lobby of the A-Building.
    3. The CVA for Building B is #2 is located in the 1st Floor Laundry Room of the B-Building.
  12. Insert your laundry card to the CVA.
    1. Follow the instructions to enter your code.
    2. The value you have purchased will be added to your card.

Our summer term is in full swing with many renovation projects occurring simultaneously at UH College Suites, which we hope you enjoy when you arrive in August for the 2016 - 2017 Academic Term.

For those of you who have been housed, we are currently in the final stages of housing and roommate assignments. An email titled UH College Suites Final Confirmation of Residency with your actual assigned apartment number, bedroom number, roommate names, and move–in instructions will be emailed to during the FIRST FULL WEEK OF AUGUST.  While we make every attempt to honor apartment and/or roommate requests, there are no guarantees.

Move-in for the 2016 - 2017 Academic Term will begin on the following dates for your respective College/University:

During normal business hours (Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 4:30pm) on designated move-in days, UH College Suites Management staff will here for you to pick up your move-in packet (which includes your keys) in the lobby of the A-Building – Main Building of UH College Suites.

When arriving after business hours, nights and weekends, Public Safety/Security will be available for you to pick up your move-in packet (which includes your keys) in the lobby of the A-Building – Main Building of UH College Suites.

Due to summer 2016 renovation work and academic term preparation at UH College Suites, please be advised that our summer term will run from May 16, 2016 - August 14, 2016 ONLY. We apologize in advance or any inconvenience this may cause.

April 5, 2016:

Be advised that new and current residents who have made online payments using our RentPayment system were previously paying a flat-rate of $48.95 convenience fee for one time transaction using credit cards or debit cards.Effective April 25, 2016, the RentPayment service will be implementing a percentage-based variable rate model. The new pricing model will replace the existing flat-rate model ($48.95 per transaction) and more accurately correlate resident-paid service fees to the exact rent payment amount.

The new pricing model is as follows:

Credit Card: 2.95% of Total Payment Amount

Debit Card: 2.95% of Total Payment Amount

In addition, any payment made over the phone with a live client care representative will be charged an additional fee of $9.95.

Also, please note that the new resident-paid service fee pricing model applies to debit and credit card transactions ONLY. For those residents who make eCheck (ACH) transactions, the fee of $4.95 will remain the same.
